The notorious Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq is to be closed, probably within three months, the US military said today.
There will probably be no rejoicing about this. Same occupation; same treatment, I would imagine. Just a different place.
Also the story tells of the hanging of 13 "insurgents." I am very sorry for this. Justice cannot be served by resistance fighters being hanged by an occupation-led government.
