Dear All

According to the latest figures compiled by the Israeli Prison Service and DCI-Palestine, the monthly average number of Palestinian children detained in 2009 is 360, up 13% from 2008.

Of greater concern is the number of young children (12-15 years) in detention, which is up 64% on the corresponding period in 2008.
