Mohammed Omer is a citizen of Rafah refugee camp in Gaza.In 2008, he received the Martha Gelhorn prize for journalism – the “Voice of the Voiceless” Returning home after receiving the award, he was severely beaten. While recovering, Mohammed pursued his studies and recently received an MA in International Political Economy and Development. Please join us to hear this inspiring man.
