An Iraqi man is seen inside a big crater after a U.S forces air strike, 10 miles north of Tikrit, 80 miles north of Baghdad, Iraq, on Wednesday. Six members of a family including four children were killed early Wednesday when a U.S. jet destroyed their house the police said. The U.S. military said troops received small arms fire while conducting operations in the area. They called in an air strike after seeing an armed man move into a nearby group of buildings.(June 25, 2008)
