Gaza – Ma'an – A Palestinian girl and her brother died on Tuesday after they drowned in an open sewage reservoir in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City.
Spokesperson for the de facto Palestinian health ministry in the Gaza Strip, Khalid Radi, identified the victims as 5-year-old Raghad Abu Sabt and her brother 7-year-old Tamir. They were rushed to Ash-Shifa Hospital, but arrived dead.
Investigations are ongoing to reveal the details of the incident.
