http://www.imemc.org/article/61586Palestinian medical sources reported Saturday morning that a Palestinian child died of wounds sustained Friday evening after Israeli soldiers opened fire at him in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The Child was identified as Ghazi Maher Al Zaaanen, 13. He was shot in the head by Israeli troops stationed east of Beit Hanoun town.
He was moved to Al Shifa hospital where he was operated and remained in a critical condition for several hours before he was pronounced dead.
His body was moved to Beit Hanoun Hospital in preparation for his burial.
In related news, Israeli soldiers fired three artillery shells at Beit Lahia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip causing damage; no injuries were reported.
