[Thanks to Peter Lippman for the pics]On November 3rd, the World Affairs Counsel [WAC] hosted Israeli NW Counsel General Akiva Tor speaking on "Making Peace in the Middle East, the Iranian Nuclear Crises and US-Israel Relations." Members of Voices of Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, Palestine Solidarity Committee, Seattle University Students Against the Occupation and other supporters of justice and human rights for Palestine and the Middle East show their outrage at this hypocrisy. Israel's record in the region as the sole nuclear-armed brutal attacker of its neighbors and occupier of Palestinian land is well known. Most of the world knows this. Perhaps the WAC will now, too. [My apologies to Veterans for Peace members!!!! Definitely a great addition.]
