National Day of Action to support Lt Watada: Rally at Fort Lewis Mon. Feb. 5
Momentum is building across the country in support of Lt. Watada as he faces a military court martial on Monday, February 5, 2007. Events and actions are planned throughout the county and the world. Thousands of people are expected to be in the streets to show opposition of the Iraq war and in support of Lt. Watada.
Monday morning when Lt. Watada goes on trial supporters will fill the court room and rally outside the gates of Fort Lewis. Students will walk out of class and buses from Portland to Bellingham are scheduled to arrive for the all day event at Fort Lewis. Show your support of Lt. Watada and join the growing movement of war resisters! Bring a lunch, signs, a peaceful, positive attitude and dress warm heavy coats, hats, scarves and gloves.

Come early and stay all day
The Watada campaign will provide a hospitality room for supporters to warm up, drink coffee/tea, and watch documentaries films. Stop by the information table for the schedule of the day, site maps, shuttle schedules and places to eat nearby. The Hospitality room is located at the Liberty Inn 1400 Wilmington Drive, DuPont, WA. 98327, Exit 118, off I-5, 1/4 mile south of the rally location. The doors open at 11am until 6pm. Shuttles will be provided to and from to the hospitality room, rally location and park & rides every thirty minutes all day long.
