This is a recommendation from the Northwest Progressive Institute of a book called "Crashing the Gate" that was written by a couple Democratic bloggers. As you can see from the quote above, there is no wall between the Dems and the Repugs, so I don't understand why they think they need to crash the gate. They're guaranteed to pass for republican with those kind of Democratic values, dontcha think????
So they're smugly going to work for and fund candidates who are pro-war, pussilanimous on civil liberties and torture, and corporately-funded and guided. I think we need to talk with these "progressives" about the ultimate result (as if it wasn't already blatantly apparent) of their "elect Dems at any cost" strategy.
